Wikipedia's definition of Taxonomy
Some rules for a taxonomy are:
- Ensure the taxonomy is defined along one single categorization dimension (e.g. Services)
- As far as is possible it should be balanced (e.g. Antipattern = one leg with 50 items and three others with 2 each)
- It should fit on one page even if it is a large page.
