This Business Use Case / Capability describes a process to establish an EA planning process.
In order to function efficiently an EA Practice or Project should follow the basic principles of iterative Project management. By considering and defining Phases, Milestones, Budgets, Resources, Activities, Roles and Work Products a high level plan can be framed, instantiated and run in the large.
Iterations can also be planned and managed in the small. This means one day deciding on all the work activity items, planning what will be done for the month, allocating the work to team members, then going off and doing it.
Start by defining and agreeing a planning process. This might not be 100% correct initially but will evolve, grow and mature over time. Base the planning process on the simplest one (SCRUM) and evolve it from there.
